Using a powerful, body-centered approach to practice, Neil McKinlay
helps people step onto the meditative path. Joining his long experience
as a swim coach with his training as a meditation instructor, he
provides the guidance required for us to engage the practice of
meditation with confidence and curiosity.
His most well-known service is Learning
to Meditate. Presented in a variety of formats in homes, community
centers, fitness studios, and professional settings, this popular
event introduces a powerful style of meditation in an immediate
and accessible way. Participants are given first-hand experience
with meditation and helped to integrate regular practice into their
daily schedules.
The Five-Minute Refresh
is a specially designed practice that can be incorporated into even
the busiest schedules and workplaces. Working with the core elements
of grounding, alignment, and breath, participants reconnect with
the health and energy that lay at the foundation of being. Taking
as little as five minutes to complete, this practice allows us to
be more relaxed and responsive in our lives.
Augmenting both of the above, ‘The Meditator’s Starter Kit’ provides
valuable follow-up to Neil’s introductory classes and workshops.
Consisting of a guided CD and the booklet, Steps Along the Way:
Questions From A Meditator’s Journey, this resource greatly
facilitates continued involvement with meditation practice.
